American emerging singer-songwriter Sarah Walk has finally returned to the music’s spotlight with some new music after the promotion of her recent single “Wake Me Up“ and “Walking In the Air“.

The accompanying video tells the story of a devoted couple who almost last the distance, but fall down at the last hurdle. It was directed by Stefanie Kolk and premiered on February 15th. About the song, she shared:
This song reflects on what the subtleties of autumn remind me of and the emotions that come with it. It’s a bittersweet, melancholic and nostalgic song about the past and moving on…a reflection on the inevitability of certain change and a mourning and appreciation for the relationships that have been let go of

Sarah Walk - Wake Me Up (Videoclip Lyrics Versuri Info)

American emerging singer-songwriter Sarah Walk signed a recording deal with One Little Indian Records and started her musical journey delivering two promotional singles “Maybe Someday” and “Keep On Dreaming“, showing a real and potential talent.

Lyrics Sarah Walk - Wake Me Up

Wake up
Wake up
You don't want to sleep through this
Night has fallen and all the stars are coming out
O the sky's a lullaby
Like
That sweet little light of mine

Come out come out
It's not like we're strangers here
No more lying here waiting, the sun's coming up
O that hole made of gold is
Like
That sweet little light of mine

The 25-year-old artist has impacted the music scene with a huge and sinisterly penetrating piano-driven rock-infused piece with a quite enigmatic chorus and a heartrending lyrics. About the song, she said:
It shows the sweetness and temptation of something or someone and also that sense of urgency and panic to get out and escape; to feel trapped by someone’s influence and power over you. The song tries to capture that feeling as a nightmare and the desperation to wake up from it. It’s one of the most haunting and visual songs on the record
“Wake Me Up” was premiered exclusively on CLASH on September 15th and it was released on digital retailers and streaming services the next day.
The music video was finally premiered through Vevo on Friday October 28th.
