Anul trecut, James Bay a lansat albumul ”Electric Light”, ce a debutat pe poziția a doua în topul discurilor din UK. Materialul a marcat o schimbare majoră de sound, artistul britanic mărturisind că și-a dorit să evolueze din punct de vedere artistic.

Cu albumul de debut ”Chaos and the Calm”, James a urcat pe prima poziție în topul discurilor din UK și Irlanda. Tot pentru acest disc a primit trofeul Brit Awards "Critics' Choice", fiind nominalizat și pentru 3 premii Grammy: Cel mai bun nou artist, Cea mai bună piesă rock (pentru "Hold Back the River") și Cel mai bun album rock (discul lui de debut).
James Bay va concerta anul acesta la București. Artistul britanic va deschide show-ul lui Ed Sheeran de pe 3 iulie.

James Bay a filmat un nou videoclip de promovare a piesei “Let It Go“. Pentru noua versiune, regizată de Sophie Muller, artistul a optat pentru un vizual mai personal, care-i permite privitorului să-l cunoască mai bine, spre deosebire de videoclipul din 2015, în care povestea era relatată din exterior.
