HD Video Music: Fly by Midnight

American retro-pop duo Fly By Midnight are back with a brand new single called “Vinyl“, another taste taken from their anticipated first extended play project, expected to be launched sometime this year via 593509 Records DK.

Lyrics Fly By Midnight - Vinyl

I wish we met in '78
Oh wouldn't it be great to get your number on a napkin
'Cause now I can't appreciate meeting face to face
It's all internet interaction

Back in the day we would stay up late
Let the boom box play
But now in the night we all swipe right
Oh what a shame

We don't have to loose all the groove babe
Grab your favorite record and we'll move like they used too
ooo ooo

We can rock
We can roll
Don't let pop
Steal the show
Come on dance the vinyl with me
(Come on dance the vinyl with me)

I'll lay down that '78
Pull you closer
I can't wait to feel you moving to a classic

No there's no need for 808s
Let the groove communicate
All of our purple rain attraction

Back in the day we would stay up late
Let the boom box play
But now in the night we all swipe right
Oh what a shame

We don't have to loose all the groove babe
Grab your favorite record and we'll move like they used too
ooo ooo

We can rock
We can roll
Don't let pop
Steal the show
Come on dance the vinyl with me
(Come on dance the vinyl with me)

We don't have to loose all the groove babe
Grab your favorite record and we'll move like they used too
ooo ooo

Side A, Side B
It don't matter much to me
Come on dance the vinyl with me
(Come on dance the vinyl with me)

Like a needle on a record, baby
Lay down on me
Like a needle on a record
You fit right into me
Like a needle on a record, baby
Lay down on me
Like a needle on a record
You fit right into me
Come on dance to the vinyl with me

“Vinyl” was released on digital retailers and streaming services on November 4th, while the official music video was premiered on January 6th.

New York-based retro pop duo Fly By Midnight, formed by Justin Bryte and Justin “Slavo” Slaven, has returned with a brand new single called “Karaoke“.

Lyrics Fly by Midnight - Karaoke

[Verse 1]
Karaoke on your dorm room floor
Slow motion silhouettes I can't ignore
Right then I knew (yeah you)
Right then I knew
She bites her lip, oh God, I can't resist
Box wine and cigarrettes with every kiss
It was all so new (yeah you)
But right then I knew

[Pre-Chorus]
That this is where I belong
[Chorus]
Cause we were dancing, our bodies moving
I think we left our clothes on the lawn
I never felt this, this kinda feeling
I had the best damn night of my life
Singing karaoke with you
Singing karaoke with you

[Verse 2]
There's a beer pong table in the hall
Strobe lights and ramen noodles hit the wall
It was all so new (yeah you)
But right then I knew

[Pre-Chorus]
That this is where we belong

[Chorus]
Cause we were dancing, our bodies moving
I think we left our clothes on the lawn
I never felt this, this kinda feeling
I had the best damn night of my life
Singing karaoke with you
Singing karaoke with you

[Bridge]
Singing karaoke with you
Singing karaoke with you

[Chorus]
Cause we were dancing, our bodies moving
I think we left our clothes on the lawn
I never felt this, this kinda feeling
I had the best damn night of my life
Oh cause we were grooving, we sound amazing
Singing "I Love Rock N Roll"
Yeah we were reckless, oh way past breakfast
I had the best damn night of my life
Singing karaoke with you
Singing karaoke with you

“Karaoke” is another sublime retro cool anthem with a lovely vibes, a quite catchy and clapping melody and a radio friendly chorus “Singing Karaoke with you oh oh oh oh”.
The single was released on digital retailers and streaming services on July 29th via 593509 Records DK. The music video directed by Leroy Prompakdee was premiered on September 23rd.
