Jessica Eden Malakouti, better known by her stage name Eden xo (formerly Jessie and The Toy Boys) has finally returned with unexpected new single called “El barrio” (English: The Neighborhood).
This becomes her first proper single this year and first after her recent collaboration with Australian emerging producer Swick and his major single “Sideline“, launched back in April.
“El barrio” is a relaxing dream-pop piece with a some sensual synths and a resonant chorus to create a real magical musical atmosphere showing a pretty more mature sound
The music video directed by Clement Oberto was premiered through Vevo on September 30th. The same day, the song was released on digital retailers and streaming services.
