Canadian electronic pop trio Austra, formed by Katie Stelmanis, Maya Postepski and Dorian Wolf, has returned with a brand new single called “Utopia” and it’s absolutely brilliant.
The track written by Katie herself is confirmed as the first taste of the band’s upcoming third studio album “Future Politics“, due out January 20th via Domino Recording as follow-up to 2014’s EP “Habitat“.
It’s a sophisticated indietronic anthem with a huge vocals which reminds somehow to Florence + The Machine. The music video directed by That Go aka Noel Paul and Stefan Moore, was premiered through Vevo on October 19th.
