English singer-songwriter Tom Chaplin, known as lead vocalist of British alternative rock band Keane has started his solo music journey with a first single called “Hardened Heart“.

The song written and produced by himself along Max McElligott is confirmed as the first taste of his upcoming debut solo album “The Wave” due out October 14th.
The first single was premiered exclusive on Jo Whiley’s show at BBC Radio 2 on August 10th and later the same day, he also debuted the official music video through Vevo. It was directed by David East.
