English-born Australian singer-songwriter Lisa Mitchell has finally returned to the music scene with a brand new single “The Boys“.
This becomes her first proper release since 2012’s album “Bless This Mess“, and it’s confirmed as the first taste of her upcoming third album “Warriors“, expected to be released on October 14th via Warner Music Group.
The single is freshly good and smoothly delicious from the very first listen. The music video directed by Luci Schroder was premiered on August 1st. About this new project, she said:
I think I have an obsession with my younger self, pre-music-career. I love remembering who’s faces I cut out of magazines and pinned on my dream-boards and what bands and artists I was listening too… It helps me get back in touch with myself and what I care about, and what I want to do here on planet earth
“The Boys” will be released on digital retailers and streaming services this Friday August 5th.
