Following the impact achieved with her latest offering “Klein Blue”, Swedish singer and songwriter Sophia Somajo has finally returned with some new music.
The rising star has delivered her new single called “Sapphire“, which serves as another taste taken from her second studio album and follow-up to 2012’s “That Time I Dug So Deep I Ended Up In China“, due out later this year via Razzia, Family Tree and Sony Music.

About this new single which was written by Somajo and produced by Björn Hallberg, she said:
It’s about chasing after something that you know you cannot get. About building someone up to be something they aren’t. I have been digging after this jewel for so many years. My fingers are bleeding and my heart is tired. With this song I am letting him know that I am letting him go
This new single will be available on digital retailers on April 22nd as part of “The Blue Chapter“, which also includes “Klein Blue“, and it’s a prelude of her upcoming EP “Freudian Slip Vol. 1“.
The music video directed by Sophia herself was finally premiered on June 10th.
