The track is the follow-up of her debut solo single “Never Forget” released in 2012 and is confirmed as the second single taken from her debut solo album “This Is Who I Am”, released on November 18, 2014 via Such Much Productions.

The demo version of the track was leaked April 2013 and the final version was released on iTunes on September 24th, 2013. The music video was premiered on October 2nd.
On the Latin-America / Spanish market the singer released the official Spanish version of the single under the name “Levántame” the same day.
The video for the Spanish version was premiered on June 28, 2016 as the first taste of her upcoming debut Spanish-language album “Esta soy yo” due out on July 1st.
