📀Stilul său aparte, un amestec de beat-uri îndrăznețe pe ritmuri de indie electro și dancehall pop și influențe jamaicane asumate, a fost rapid adoptat de trendseterii londonezi, Elliphant devenind unul dintre cei mai exotici noi artiști ce intrau în playlisturile cluburilor din Marea Britanie. În câteva luni piesele sale aveau să rasune și dincolo de ocean, odată cu semnarea unui contract cu Kemosabe Records – Sony Music Entertainment.
