The X Factor Australia winner Dami Im is back and this time, she is the chosen one to represent Australia at 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm.
The Korean-Australian singer and songwriter confirmed the news during a special event on Sydney Opera House on March 3rd. She becomes Australia’s second ever entrant to Eurovision and she takes over Guy Sebastian, the representative from last year, who finished fifth in the competition.

The song is called “Sound of Silence” and it’s a powerful mid-tempop pop ballad. The music video was premiered on The Feed SBS on March 10th.
It was classified to compete in Eurovision’s final on Saturday May 14th. She finally ended as the runner-up with 511 points after leading the classification for all ratings
