Sydney-based female singer and producer George Maple has finally returned to the music’s spotlight with a brand new single after the huge impact achieved with 2014’s jam “Talk Talk“.
The new track is called “Stick and Horses” and it’s a great electronic-infused jam mixed with some 90s R&B-pop and atmospherically seductive vibes. The track also includes the guest collaboration of rapper GoldLink.

About the song, Maple said:
It’s a tale of revenge, sex, money, power and greed. It is a theatrical play on my own experiences. I wanted to be loud and fun with the presentation of the song. I spent a lot of time in the USA and was exposed to a completely new world of rap and strip clubs.
I find it intriguing and seductive. I was inspired by the raw and confronting nature of the experience. It is a space which is very foreign to a girl like me, who grew up in a small beach town in Australia. It’s the perfect setting to tell the story. It was very liberating to express myself in this new medium
“Stick and Horses” was released on digital retailers on April 27th via Utopian Ideas PTY, Virgin EMI Records and Universal Music. The music video directed by Leticia Dare and Luke Farquhar was premiered through Vevo later the same day.
