Jamie Lawson este un tânăr artist irlandez ajuns popular pe plan local datorită unui clip postat pe YouTube și devenit viral peste noapte. Lawson cântă la chitară de la vârsta de 8 ani, principalele sale influențe fiind Crowded House, R.E.M. și Leonard Cohen. La 17 ani a descoperit că poate cânta la voce, astfel începând să susțină mici concerte în cluburi din Irlanda.
